Week 31!!

We made it to week 31.  One week left until (what I lovingly call) "the parole hearing" happens.  Getting out of baby jail would be fantastic!!  I love all of the nurses and doctors here, but I'm ready to break out.  I've finished another knitting project today.  This one ended up a little big (again) but she'll be able to wear the dress someday. . . I hope.

My husband smuggled in my Valentine from home.  She was only here for a half hour, but it was worth it.

Week 29

Another week down!  Baby Eichler is on her way to 30 weeks which is very good news.  She is super active and doing well.  This week also brings a few hospital craft projects to a close.  This one is my favorite - "She will be the talk of the ski slopes swaddled in this winter delight" (according to the pattern book).  I've been plotting to make one in an adult size so that I can match my kid.  I don't know why everyone thinks that would be a bad idea??

Today is a big day!

We made it to 28 weeks!

One week down, four big ones to go (more is just icing on the cake).  The other good news is that my department found a long term sub yesterday!!!  Dan Brutlag, whoever you are, thank you for helping out on such short notice.  Now there's no need to worry about my friends covering my classes (whew)!  More time can now be devoted to important things such as Judge Judy and US magazine, and of course naming this kid.  (Aaron is affectionately calling her "Meatball" right now - yikes)

My husband is so great . . . I should send God a quiche.

Aaron has been here everyday with DVD's. contraband food, and clean clothes.  He's even threatening to smuggle in a kitty or two.  Yesterday I received "patio priveledges" so he wheeled me outside (on a guerney) and we hung out under lots of blankets in the sun.  It was the first daylight that I had seen since Tuesday. I think that I would go crazy if it weren't for him (and my great friends that have visited of course)!
