Vacation is Rough

It's nap time in our hotel room and two out of three Eichlers are out for the count. I hope one of them wakes up soon! TV on mute is not so exciting.

Hands down Megan's favorite place to be! We went last week with the Kittredge family.

Halloween

Seven years ago I bought the chicken suit for a staff costume parade. I ended up wearing it out to the bars later that night and was a big hit. Little did I know that years later I would be wearing it again with my baby girl chicken in tow. The toddler crowd loved it as much as the bar crowd. Who knew?

Daycare Blues

Aaron and I are both back to work full time now, so Miss M is now at her new daycare . . . and she is not happy about it.  Tears when I drop her off and tears when I pick her up.  These last few pics, however, tell me that she might be having a little fun without me.

As I was packing up our stuff (yes we are moving!!!) I came across this picture of my dad.  I had a hard time finding a picture of Megan in the same pose, but I think she looks a little like him.  Both pictures are a little fuzzy. . .

Dance Mania

Lately Miss M will start swaying, clapping, and shaking her head to any music that she hears.  Usually it's to random commercials on TV.  This was in Target a few weekends ago.

Easter

We had such a great day on Easter Sunday.  The weather was perfect and Megan LOVED what the Eater Bunny brought her.  She was practicing "kisses" on her bunny book during church. 

Spring Break in Wine Country

Marilyn and Bill came to visit last week and we spent a few days in wine country during their stay in CA.  Here are some the highlights:

Megan's Little Corner

Setting up an area for Megan to grow up in was something that I was going to do during my last trimester of pregnancy . . . but I was a little too busy to get anything done :)  This one bedroom apartment is going to be ours for awhile now so I decided to finally give her a little decor around her space.

On the right is an origami crane mobile made by Aaron and I, and an elephant poster which is a print from a museum that Megan and I visited when she was very small.

This changing table used to be the two end tables Aaron and I had by our bed.  They are great for storage!    The hanging canvas picture above was taken of Megan in her "runner up" halloween costume; a very colorful ballerina.

The pictures (left and top) are of Megan posing with her stuffed animals, since her room is animal themed.  There is also a print (middle) given to us by my friend Melissa when I was in the hospital.  It says "You are Beautiful".  So sweet.

All of these were hung with the amazing 3M products.  Aaron is so worried about living in earthquake country that I wasn't allowed to "hang" anything with nails for fear they would fall down on her.  It is supposed to look like the pictures are hanging from ribbons on silver hooks, but really they are all GLUED to the wall with sticky tabs!!
